Amy grew up quite pudgy and lost about 50 lbs going low-carb (boo) and playing soccer in high school. She experimented with free weights and bodyweight exercises during college and after, and did lots of slow running and some yoga. Amy discovered Crossfit online while perusing some paleo food blogs, and knew when she moved to Denver she had to try it. That was three years ago, and she was an addict from the first day. She also went from running being the easiest part of the WOD to the most difficult, haha. Amy has had the pleasure of coaching at 2 Crossfit gyms previous to Crossfit Cuspis and enjoys competing when she can afford it. She loves WODs with double-unders (a hard-earned skill!) and dumbbell snatches, and she loves seeing women (and men!) grow strong.
